Boiler: Section 4

This section shows the boiler baghouse. A baghouse is essentially a filter which is used to remove solid (ash, soot, etc.) material from the flue gas.

If the figure provided here does not make sense, go back to the block diagram of this system. Many of the technical matter provided here has not been discussed with you. It will be discussed in later sections. This section is designed to provide you with a brief overview.
