d. Notice grayish piping inside the green regions surrounding the lower part of the furnace. This piping is used to transport the pulverized coal from the pulverizers to the furnace burners. The green area surrounding the pulverized coal burners represents the combustion air ducting, designed to accept the combustion air from the FD Fan and introduce it into the furnace.
