Qualified employees - continued.

"Qualified Employees" are responsible for:

a. Safe de-energization of live parts before a worker is allowed to work near or on them.

b. Safe de-energization or disconnection of necessary electric circuits.

c. Release or block any stored energy.

d. Lock and tag out of the disconnected circuits so they can't turn on accidentally.

e. Testing of de-energized circuits to confirm de-energization.

f. When required, removal of locks and tags.

g. Re-energization of electric circuits according to standard procedures.
