Other workers or non-qualified workers

Other workers, who are not qualified to work on the electrical equipment also need to be trained.

Unqualified workers need to be trained on the following:

a. Risks associated with energized equipment.

b. Tasks, which can only be performed by qualified employees. This is important to teach the unqualified workers about tasks they are forbidden to do.

c. Hazards associated with electricity and protective measures that need to be taken.
