Group lockout

For large maintenance jobs, many times, worker groups are involved in the maintenance work. Under these conditions, the original procedure still needs to be followed. For example, a group of mechanics who have to remove a large electric motor. In this case, you need, as before, one authorized person who makes the area safe for the workers and rest of the workers perform the actual maintenance work.

In some cases there may be more than one authorized employee in a group.

Under group work situations safety becomes even more important. Main reason: Sometimes the word "group" indicates external contractors - who may not be familiar with the area at all.
