Furnace Components

For process applications, fired heaters are manufactured in many designs. The furnace design depends upon the following main factors:

a. Capacity (gallons per minute of material to be heated)

b. Temperature to be attained

c. Type of material to be heated

d. Nature of fuel to be burned

Furnace design is based upon the above factors. Usually many designs (by different manufacturers) can accomplish the same goals.
