Waterwall Tubes
The figure provided here illustrates how waterwall tubes are constructed. Most furnace walls are constructed with water-cooled membrane walls. Notice the membrane between two adjacent tubes. This construction provides good sealing for the furnace as well as maximum heat transfer.
