Relationship Between Saturation Temperature and Pressure

In the preceding sections we learned that the saturation temperature for water is 212 deg F. This temperature corresponds to atmospheric conditions (0 psig). The saturation temperature is not a fixed number, it depends upon the pressure. The figure shown here illustrates the relationship between the saturation temperature and pressure for water.
