Transformer Image 3

The figures provided here illustrates a low voltage pole-mounted transformer. Such transformers usually have the following features:

a. The transformer is mounted on a pole that is supporting one or more high voltage lines.

b. The high voltage lines are used to power the high voltage winding of the transformer.

c. The low voltage side of the transformer is used supply power for domestic purposes or commercial buildings such as office complexes or warehouses.
