Disposable Air Dryers
This figure illustrates a lubrication system that is provided with a disposable air dryer. This system is used where moisture contamination must be kept to a minimum.

As the desiccant cartridge absorbs moisture, it changes color. Say, it may change its color from blue to red. The color change is very visible, allowing easy inspection. It is very easy to replace the cartridge and return the system back to normal.
