Absolute Pressure Scale in "inches mercury" (right scale - bottom part)

This is an uncommon scale, but we are going to discuss it for the sake of completion of this discussion.

We can express absolute pressure in terms of inches of mercury, as shown on the right hand side. We can show 0 psia as 0" Hg. And we can show atmospheric pressure as 29.92" Hg. Recall the earlier discussion on barometer. Remember it showed normal atmospheric conditions as 29.92 inches of mercury column.
